The season 2021-2022 will deliver many exciting house- and role-debuts for me. To kick it off I will have my long awaited debut at the Bayreuther Festspiele in July/August 2021. As Walther von der Vogelweide in Tannhäuser. Alongside amazing artists such as Lise Davidsen and Stephen Gould. In September I will perform the title role in Wagner´s Parsifal at the Rued Langgaard Festival in Denmark, and already in October I will have another thrilling role- and house-debut as Walther von Stolzing in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at Oper Leipzig. This will be the last opera in musical director Ulf Schirmers ambitious project of producing all of Wagners operas and performing them together in 3 weeks at a grand festival in the summer of 2022. Later same autumn I will have my Berliner-debut at Komische Oper as Boris in Janáček´s Kát´a Kabanová. 2022 will start off with another house- and role-debut as I will be performing the demanding tenor part in a staged production of Janáček´s song-cycle The diary of one who disappeared at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, France. In the spring of 2022 we are hoping to finally premiere the Staatsoper Hannover´s production of Martinů’s Greek Passion directed by inspired director Barbora Horácková. Exactly 2 years after the premiere was cancelled by the corona lock down in March 2020. This will then be yet another house- and role-debut as I will finally get to sing the fascinating role of Manolios for an audience. The final production of a (hopefully) busy season will be the third opera of Wagner´s Ring-Cycle at Den Ny Opera, Denmark. I will have my careers biggest vocal challenge so far, as I take upon me the role of Siegfried in the opera Siegfried
